My goodness, we’re one year old! Look how big we are! Such a big store now. Why, I remember when we were a cute little site, just learning to crawl the web . . . and now we’re all grown up with a house of our own.

And, Big Thanks to everyone who helped us to take our first steps and challenged us to grow in new directions. We couldn’t have done it without you (and in a few cases, we did it despite you). So many happy returns of the day, and here’s to a fantastic 2008!

What have we been up to, you wonder?

We’ve moved things around a little and unpacked some new and delicious things.

And are now sitting on the couch, working and knitting and bickering over who is going to run to the depanneur to buy milk:

Just thought we’d give y’all a little cyberpoke to say that if you’re bored this evening and can’t stand another night at the malls or wrapping presents or watching reruns on TV, we’re officially open until 8 (and unofficially until whenever) and our fireplace is always on.

Unfortunately the snow really dumped down on the city and it was very difficult to get anywhere! We received a few emails from people who wanted to get down but were unable to make it. If you are still feeling in the giving mood, we are accepting donations up until Friday at 6pm! So come on down to Ariadne and drop off your stuff. Our kettle will be on and waiting for you!
