Ready to take your knitting beyond the knit and purl stitches? This seminar will introduce you to the basics of cables. Based on a relatively simple idea, cables can run the gamut from easy and straightforward to complex and mystifying. We'll look at the left twist, the right twist, cabling with and without a cable needle, and (time permitting) examine how the basics can be combined to make more complicated patterns. A knowledge of knitting and purling is required.
